Nan's locket story

My dad at about age 10 with his dad and brothers were walking through tring woods at night when they saw a tiny little light/ lantern moving across the hill in front of them. My grandad told them that was a fairy and that he knew they had seen him and that he would have to give them some of his gold. The next day they went back to the same spot only to find a fairy ring of mushrooms with a gold locket in the middle. My grandad sadly passed away but my nanny still wears the locket everyday with a photo of my grandad inside. 22 carat gold.
